Google the reviews of this rack and be impressed. No worries about corrosion or rust. Stable. I got the three bike rack though I have two bikes just to be sure I had enough room between the bikes. Easy to install, but one caveat be sure you don’t tighten the locking knobs for each leg too tightly or you’ll strip them and they’ll be a little loose not a big problem, but for peace of mind you want them snug and not loose.
I may also say this for Saris EXCELLENT buyer service. I called to get many substitute knobs, and another stabilizer strap since my bike is an oddball and needed another length of strap to secure the seat post tube. I expected and had no problem with paying for these things. Guess what? No charge nice and fast shipping.

Good, hard rack for shorter trips. After the 1st time you install it, it becomes easy to install and remove 3 to four minutes to install and less than one minute to remove. On a sedan you may be able to leave it on, but on a SUV you must take it off to get access to the back. The instruction talks of S Hooks, but the two I have bought don’t have S hooks, which makes it harder to take off the hooks after installation. If you want to take your bikes across country look at hitch racks.
Also, when I bought this rack there was one other review in this space and it was negative. Three days afterward and that review was removed!!
It could leave a bad taste in my mouth if I thought removed negative reviews just to sell more merchandise.

I bought this rack to use on a new PRIUS. Works as it should. Lightweight, padded and strong. Carried two bikes without a hitch pun. No problems with the padded feet on the rear glass.
