I bought this product for my average volume professional detailing company as a way of freeing up many of the higher powered DA polishers. Well, to say this merchandise doesn’t meet up to the description is putting it mildly. 1st, it doesn’t have enough power for paint correction form or form, so forget that idea right off the bat. Also, the battery life is nothing short of awful. I have lots of cordless tools and am greatly familiar with their batteries and how to charge them so I know that I’m not the issue here. The bottom line is you get about 30 40 minutes out of it.IF you’re using it to buff the wax and polish up on a car, or apply wax, which is all this POS is good for then do it quickly. Bottom line, save your money by a REAL dual action polisher from Meguair’s or porter cable (which are the same tool as they’re both made by porter cable). This tool sucks big time.

Having bought cordless buffers in the past (Coleman Powermate 18) I was cynical about the power and durability of the Tooluxe. But, I’m pleasantly surprised after two usages that it has lots of power for your DIY car wax, polish, and light compounding. I can not attest to the durability.

Contrary to the mad rant by the professional, the Tooluxe with the yellow bonnet and many 3M rubbing compound will correct minor scratches like the ones I got from branches on a dirt road in the Eastern Sierra over Memorial Day. Some compound and 4 5 minutes of random orbit and the paint was “corrected.” I could agree with the reviewer than it isn’t a RO Porter Cable or a professional round Milwaukee or DeWalt, but it’s wrong to say that the Tooluxe buffer can not do minor paint corrections, because it’ll.

It has about an hour of uninterrupted use power not three as stated in the description. Maybe three hours if you count the time the trigger is not pulled. Lots of time for some scratch elimination and wax application or one shot of wax application and elimination.

I also bought the packaged SM Arnold Yellow and Black Cool It bubble pads and MicroFiber Bonnet. The Microfiber Bonnet is 9 10,” but should have been 7 8″ but it still works. I have not had a chance to use the black for waxing or swirl elimination. I newly bought a new car and want to be sure the outside is taken care of (the south Florida sun tends to punish car finishes). Since I live in a townhouse community where my parking space is not close to my real house, I needed a cordless buffer for waxing the car.

Overall, I could give this buffer 4.5 stars there’s really little to complain about, and most of those complaints can not be helped (such as the weight the price of going cordless on a device like this is a trade off in weight, so I can not fault the product for that). The only real thing I could knock half a star off for is the lack of a trigger lock button. It could be nice to be able to lock the trigger in the “on” position for easier use if you must really reach with it, like when you are working on the roof of a car and trying to reach the center.

On my 1st use, the battery lasted through applying and buffing wax on the whole car without feeling like it slowed down at all, and seemed like it had lots of power. I would not be surprised if I may have done two cars with it on a full charge. The battery charges kind of slow, though, around 3 5 hours for a full charge.

This unit uses a velcro attachment system, and I had no problem using Meguiar’s bubble cutting pads and wool buffers intended for velcro connections.

But, it was so packaged together and priced well that I felt compelled to attempt it. I am happy with the easy use for all the merchandise. Also, the size of the spray bottles (24 oz) is nice as they’ll last a pretty while. Only the car wash is a little small. The wax and top coat go on and off as easy as anything I have tried and leave a good finish. The tire shine product has just the right total of gloss. The leather cleaner leaves may be just a little too slick for my taste but it is not bad. In general, happy with the kit and as I stated, it’s a pretty bargain on considering the shipping has been included in the price of $62.

I got this for my birthday. (I like to detail my car) and yeah it comes with everything you may possibly have to make your car shine. The leather conditioner is one of the best conditioners I have ever used.
I gave it four stars because:
1. The shampoo bottle is small. And I mean SMALL. It seems like a shampoo sample.
2. ONE MICROFIBER? PUHLEASE! at least add 3.
3. Clay doesn’t come with a protecting box like the one that comes with Turtle wax clay.

It’s a really good value particularly if you take benefit of Amazon’s free shipping. I love Mother’s merchandise and was especially impressed with the clay treatment. It was as good as my friend said it could be. Easy and fast to apply and it strips all the old wax off the car and makes the surface feel like glass. After I stripped it down I put on a coat of Carnuba and the special polish and my ten year old car seems brand new. A great value on great merchandise.
